Icons replace via IconChamp change to a default blue folder icon after a while

I've had this issue with a couple of apps but most often with Slack it seems. I add a custom app icon through IconChamp, the icon gets replaced after hitting 'Apply'. A couple of hours later I'll launch the app and instead of a custom icon I now see a blue finder folder icon.

Just tried to replace the folder icon with the custom app icon and although IconChamp tells me it applied the new icon I still see the folder icon.

I am able to manually change the icon (through the Get Info window), I did have to enter my pw to apply the icon. Maybe that's trips up IconChamp?

I'm having the same issue on two separate machines, both on Sonoma 14.1.1 (23B81).

This only started happening once I enabled the 'Automatically re-apply icons' feature after buying Pro, so that might be part of the issue?

Same issue here... after 3-4 restarts the icons are set to the folder icon
