Check version

  • I'm running the latest version of Path of Building and I've verified this by checking the changelog

Check for duplicates

  • I've checked for duplicate open and closed issues by using the search function of the issue tracker

Check for support

  • I've checked that the calculation is supposed to be supported. If it isn't please open a feature request instead (Red text is a feature request).

What platform are you running Path of Building on?

Windows

What is the value from the calculation in-game?

Rage regeneration in-game was suspiciously low compared to the value given in PoB, which stated I should be over-sustaining, while in-game I was limited by rage generation.
Rage regeneration is not a stat given in the character sheet in-game.
~50% of rage generation according to POB was given by mana recovery rate from Unwavering Faith ascendancy notable.
The following experiment was done to determine if Unwavering Faith was effecting rage regeneration.

With and without Unwavering Faith allocated, I counted the number of times I could use a skill then fully regenerate rage during a 15 second period.
Base rage before mana recovery rate is 32 - 22 rage per second accounting for the 10 per second degen.
With Unwavering faith allocated, 50 rage per second should be generated, 40 after the 10 per second degen.
I confirmed that Unwaivering Faith is increasing the character sheet mana regeneration per second.
As a result, if it was working, I would expect to see twice as many skill uses in the time period.
Instead, I consistently saw 16-17 skill uses within the time period with and without Unwavering Faith allocated.

An alternate experiment would be to use Transcendent mind with negative mana recovery rate, which if finessed would create a character generating rage ingame when PoB predicts no rage would be generated.

What is the value from the calculation in Path of Building?

PoB includes mana recovery rate as effecting rage regeneration, when it appears not to ingame.

How to reproduce the issue

  1. Allocate Chainbreaker on a character.
  2. Add a large amount of mana regeneration. (high level clarity, large flat mana etc.)
  3. Add some source of increased mana recovery rate.
