Describe the bug, provide any errors
There's no errors.

How can we reproduce it?
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Login on a 1.8 server with a 1.7 client.
  2. It takes some time, but with a few relogs you should start seeing players' nametags being empty and their skins being Steve.

Expected behaviour
Nametags and skins should show up as usual.
