We can work on this together, just that the maintainer is yet to give me a go ahead!

Or should we go ahead irrespective?

I think we should wait for the maintainer so that we can make a meaningful contribution

One of my PR on the repo recently got accepted, so I just referenced this issue there. I hope the maintainer approves it soon.

@Dolamu-TheDataGuy @valentinesamuel thanks for the interest in contributing! Sounds good to me if you want to collaborate in contributing. To do that, one of you can start a PR and then you can use GitHub's suggestion feature to make changes together https://docs.github.com/en/pull-requests/collaborating-with-pull-requests/reviewing-changes-in-pull-requests/incorporating-feedback-in-your-pull-request If you use the suggestion feature, you will both get credit for your commit changes in the PR. I hope that helps. Good luck!
