When using scene and setting air conditioner to off turns it on

I created a new scene that says that the AC is off and when running the scene it's turning it on because the air conditioner takes "off" command and turns the air conditioner on. It's actually a bug in gree air conditioner but can you check if the air conditioner is already off before sending the off comand again?
