added layout: page in markdown but does not show up in navbar

Hi there,

I am moving my theme from the default jekyll theme to yat, but the pages don't show up along the top. My files are in page-title.markdown and I have at the top

title: Page Title
permalink: /page-title/
---

not sure if its a simple change that needs doing
