using Debian "bookworm"

JWM v2.4.4 by Joe Wingbermuehle
compiled options: confirm icons jpeg nls pango png shape svg xbm xft xinerama xpm xrender

problem : first window to be opened on the desktop fail to be raised (as it seems).
Focusmodel option set to "sloppy". using compton compositor.

left click inside the window doesn't raise it
left click on the title doesn't raise it
left click on the border or on the desktop raise it
right click anywhere raise it

strange behaviour. only annoying when using a compositor with inactive window set to some transparency (the window is properly focused).
