export animations in blender 2.79 #24

Hi,
I try since two days to export a rigged mesh together with it's animatino to iqm.
I tried everything I read about that issue. I filled out the animation box with anim:1:40:5:0, i selected everything with a and tried everything i could think of, but still only the mesh is exported without the animation.
what am I missing?

Does it work if you try blender 2.74?

I'm not shure how to downgrade to blender 2.74.

if I may interject, 2.74 is kinda outdated...
I was building a plugin for 2.75 and got yelled at for asking how to do something that I should've been using 2.78 (latest at the time), since apparently the feature was broken on 2.75.

I recommend updating your plugin ;)

now with latest blender. (2.8.x), the IQM plugin is totally outdated and we are all screwed.. hope plugin will be updated after stable release of blender:)

I will look into it this weekend to see how hard it is to update the exporter to 2.8.

if it helps i already ported the version i use, wasn't too bad. https://github.com/excessive/iqm-exm/tree/master/blender-2.80

has some other changes, too, such as animations using NLA & different selection behavior

I tested plugin for 2.8 and everything seems fine now :) ..except one thing ;p

Dear Lee, there something is not right when animation is exported with 'De-rigify' checked, last version of blender (and plugin for it) thats works without that issue is 2.63 I think.
This looks like position/rotation of some bones is bugged when animation starts (hand in this example in zip below)
