I suggest perhaps removing /locations as a subresource and making this resource more informational.
query params could include: /countries

  • ?like= find a country with a keyword eg ?like=Belgium

After finding the provider you could go to v3/locations for example v3/locations?countries_id=13 to filter your list of locations. Do any other query parameters come to mind?
