How to inscribe to other wallet?

Is it possible that I can inscribe to a wallet that not belongs to me?
For example, I inscribe something for my friend, I would like to inscribe directly to his wallet.？
Or, i have to inscribe to myself first, then send the inscription to him?

It is possible to inscribe to any address you want.
Use ord wallet inscribe --help to get the command --destination <ord_wallet_address>
