About Innisfil Toastmasters |
<p class="intro">Chartered on December 14th, 2015, Innisfil Toastmasters became a
small and friendly community club open to all to improve their speaking and leadership skills.
The meeting, which happens every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 7:30pm - 9:00pm, is usually divided into two parts:
<ol>
<li>Prepared speeches and projects from the <a href="https://www.toastmasters.org/pathways-overview" target="_blank">Pathways</a> Program</li>
<li>Speaking opportunities for everyone and evaluations</li>
</ol>
<p>Guests and members are welcome to partipate and take on any <a href="https://www.toastmasters.org/membership/club-meeting-roles" target="_blank">roles</a> they're comfortable with.</p>
<p>We provide a supportive and positive learning environment where both successes and mistakes are welcomed and celebrated along the journey.</p>
Business casual or casual is usually the norm, but we ask whatever you find comfortable but appropriate. Members who are presenting a speech or competing in contest, are welcome to dress in more formal attire or a costume appropriate to their speech.
Guests are welcome to attend a few times to see if the club is a good fit. Membership is $100 (pro-rated) every six months plus an inital one time only sign-up fee to register with Toastmasters International.
