Spyder 6.0.0 Variable Explorer Feature Request

Not sure where to put feature request so using "Issues". Will move if there is a better place.

Been Spyder user and contributor since version 4.
Trying Spyder 6.0.0 and like the ability to spin up kernels for different venv/conda environments. 👍

Regarding variable explorer, seems like there are much more options and cleaner UI to modify object in place and view options.

However, in previous version 5.5.X, I was able to

• Select on objects that I would like to remove to declutter through the variable explorer

Is it possible on the new version 6.0.0. Is there plan to add this "back" or add new feature for this?
