Installation instructions are due by Friday, June 16th. We will need to figure out what we want to require for the tutorial. I think we'll at least want the latest version of SymPy (1.12) and NumPy and matplotlib for lambdify and plotting, and Jupyter notebook for the tutorial materials. If we want to require anything advanced for code generation, we'll need to require that as well. I would suggest not requiring a compiler, as that will be harder for people to install.
We should aim to put the materials on something like Binder or a similar service (Binder has been scaled down, so it may not work for tutorials anymore). We should also look into having the materials on jupyterlite. But regardless, we'll need to ask people to install things locally as well in case there are internet issues at the tutorial.

I didn't know about that. Presumably people can just "trust" the notebook to fix this. I will also confirm that things work properly in Nebari, which we plan to run the tutorial in.
