We should explore developing an abuse policy to handle issues with sensitive issues (eg use of network / tools against local laws).

  • How do people report things?
  • What do we do when we investigate?
  • What do we do when we remediate?
  • What goes into an incident report?
  • Do we need a public repository of takedown/abuse requests?

Our Code of Conduct can be a basis for this.

In online spaces, Toronto Mesh moderators and administrators have elevated privileges in order to enforce our standards and Code of Conduct pledge.

If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, the organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from events and online forums.
