This repository contains the benchmarking code for the paper "FiNER-ORD: Financial Named Entity Recognition Open Research Dataset". The dataset, available on HuggingFace, can be used as a benchmark for financial domain-specific NER and NLP tasks. FiNER-ORD consists of a manually annotated dataset of English financial news articles collected from webz.io. More information is available in the paper.
