Account Creation on Windows

"#!" is a unix based system, so to take advantage of our offerings you need a unix-like environment to connect.

If you are not yet confident enough to install a unix based operating system yourself, you can install "cygwin" on windows to give you a standards complaint unix-like terminal to allow you to set up an account:

Once your account is actually set up and you have a "private key" file created, you can connect via "Chrome Secure Shell" (recommended) or "putty".

These methods are not actively supported by most of our regulars, but you may get someone to take pity on you. Good luck!
