Given that it's Friday afternoon (or later) in most of the world at the moment, might it make sense to delay publishing this until Monday?

When news gets released on a Friday afternoon, it's usually bad news that folks want to bury among the events of the weekend. AFAICT, this post is all good news! But I'm worried that making it public it on a Friday afternoon might make it seem otherwise.

IMHO I don't think there's a perceptible difference on our end between publishing right now and publishing on Monday.
